Why our pub is great
You can expect a warm welcome and great service from our team, at The Victoria Cross; renowned for great food and drink, in a homely atmosphere.
Food is served all day. Whether you’re stopping by for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’ll find delicious pub classics - fish and chips, lasagne, grills, burgers and more. Our Sunday lunches go down a treat!
We’re a local pub, at the heart of our community, with a great social calendar. Get your sports fix here, where we show matches regularly, via BT Sports and enjoy live entertainment at our open mic nights, showcasing local talent. Sit out in the beer garden, when the weather is nice. Or grab a game of pool or darts with a friend. Dogs are welcome too, so bring them along. We’re looking forward to welcoming you.
About Our Food
If you’re looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat with friends, or pop in after work – head on over! Our new menu features lots of dishes with big flavour! From our Gammon Steak Melt Stack (topped with pulled pork chilli if you fancy it!) to Golden Scampi or even The Yorkshire Platter; there’s something to tempt you for any hankering. Fancy something a little lighter? No problem – check out our Chicken and Bacon Salad, or range of ‘skinny’ burgers that will go nicely with one of our refreshing drinks!
And if there’s room for more, we’ve got a range of indulgent puds at wallet-friendly prices if you feel like treating yourself! Lots of our food is eligible for daily or weekly deals too.
